In Baptism, your child will become an adopted son or daughter of God — a new identity that can never be taken away. And your child will be formally welcomed into a new family — the Catholic Church — a family of faith that will support your child for the whole of his or her life.
Family life can be chaotic. Family life with Jesus is different. Come bridge the gap between faith and life at one of our family faith events this fall. Events will range from interactive experiences for the whole family to parent-focused talks with built-in childcare and a focus on Christ.
Our first Family Faith event is on September 8, 2026.
Prepare your child for these beautiful sacraments of healing and communion through an integrated, family-focused approach. And see how God renews your own experience of the sacraments at the same time!
Is your child (ages 7-18) Interested in becoming Catholic, receiving a sacrament, or fully entering the Church? Join our Become Catholic for Children program at Stella Maris!
The program is specifically designed for children who have not yet been baptized or have been baptized in another Christian faith. Formation sessions will be held 2x per month from late September through early April.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd nurtures your child’s relationship with God through a Montessori-inspired hand, head, and heart faith formation program. This year, we are pausing CGS sessions to reevaluate and prepare to bring the gifts of this catechesis to the entire Parish Family.
